Italy is a magical box.
If you like travelling, you probably have been to Italy already.
When I meet new people and they found out I am Italian, they often say, “oh nice, I’ve been to Italy, it is so beautiful”. Then my curiosity kicks in and I ask where.
Most of the time they have been to Rome, Venice, Florence. Then they say, “also we went to Paris, London, Madrid etc…” Truly, I am a bit disappointed.
I think this way of travelling is like reading a book summary. However, after that page, you need to read the book. My suggestion is to go back, pick an area (any area is guaranteed to have plenty of amazing surprises) and take it easy. Immerse yourself in the culture, discover and enjoy………
Please comment, I would appreciate any feedback, ideas to add to my posting.
Let’s start the journey……
To better enjoy Italy, it’s culture, food, and its beautiful nature, learn their basic language. It would be good to be able to communicate with the locals to get the most of your vacation in Italy especially in villages.
